Jessica Blaine

Elementary Science & Math Teacher

Mrs. Blaine earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in ESOL and Reading. She also holds a micro-credential in gifted education.

She’s had experience in a variety of classrooms from our local scale up to our fundamental schools. However, being able to teach in alignment with Indi-ED’s philosophies, is the balance that she believes all children should be so lucky to learn in.

Mrs. Blaine is a New York native and spends her spare time camping, biking, hiking, traveling, reading, hiking, and being anywhere in or on water as much as possible.

She brings the outdoors into her classroom often and encourages creativity and independence. Helping students grow, create, explore, and realize their strengths builds the confidence to take on anything.

She believes that problem solving skills, creativity, growth, engagement and innovation come from learning in a flexible, nurturing and holistic environment. Combine that with facilitating and being involved in project based learning and you have a ripe environment for growth of every kind.
